Meet Gayatri, creator of Cotton Diva
Cotton Diva grew from a lifelong connection to clothing, colour, travel and craftsmanship.
From an early age, I was surrounded by women who dressed with ease and individuality — nothing forced, nothing overly considered. That sense of relaxed personal style stayed with me.
After living in London during the cultural shifts of the 70s, my partner and I began travelling regularly to India. Over time, those experiences naturally shaped Cotton Diva.
The colour, texture and artistry of India continue to influence the collection today — from hand block printing to relaxed silhouettes designed to be worn easily and lived in.
Cotton Diva is designed by me in Noosa and produced in small runs, with a focus on natural fibres, thoughtful design and pieces that feel quietly distinctive.
Naturally, all Cotton Diva pieces are ethically manufactured to high quality standards.
